"We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure."
Hebrews 6:19
High School Youth Ministry
Through our high school youth ministry program, called ANCHOR, we aim to accompany our youth on their walk into deeper relationship with Jesus as His disciples, drawing them into all aspects of parish life, and inflaming our community to greater holiness. At our weekly gatherings we build community through a variety of activities and learn and explore various aspects of our faith in a small group (6-8 students) setting. Our teens worship together, and serve our parish and local community through a variety of projects and events.
ANCHOR is open to teens in grades 9 - 12 and meets 6:30 to 8:00 pm on most Sunday evenings, starting in mid-September and running until May. While 100% Catholic, participation is open to teens of any faith. Those seeking the sacrament of Confirmation should fully participate in ANCHOR in 9th and 10th grades.
For questions, please contact our Coordinator of Youth Ministry, Kevin Parker, at the office or via email, youthministry@stpeter-libertytown.org. Register for ANCHOR using the form available through the icon below.
