Middle School Youth Ministry

 

Through our middle school youth ministry program, called EDGE, we aim to accompany our youth on their walk into deeper relationship with Jesus as His disciples, drawing them into all aspects of parish life, and inflaming our community to greater holiness.

 

We use the EDGE curriculum, published by LifeTeen, which is based on, focused on, and directed toward the Eucharist.  EDGE is geared specifically to middle school adolescents who are on “the Edge” because so much is going on in their lives.  At our weekly gatherings we build community through a variety of activities and  learn and explore various aspects of our faith in a small group (6-8 students) setting.  Our youth worship together, and serve our parish and local community through a variety of projects and events.

 

EDGE is open to students in grades 6 – 8 and meets 6:30 to 8:00 pm on most Sunday evenings, starting in mid-September and running until May.  While 100% Catholic, participation is open to students of any faith.
