Archbishop Lori has left it up to pastors to decide what to do on Sunday concerning Masses and activities. I do not do this lightly, but every weather model shows that Sunday morning is the bullseye for heavy snow and accumulations of 12-18 inches or more.

Therefore I am canceling all activities at St. Peter the Apostle on Sunday, January 25, including the 8 AM and 11 AM Masses. I encourage anyone who can to attend the 5 PM Saturday Vigil Mass. We have plenty of room, so please consider coming. The Saturday evening Mass will be live-streamed and available to watch on Sunday. If you cannot attend Saturday, you are dispensed from the obligation to attend on Sunday, but I strongly encourage you to watch the livestream (it can be accessed from the link below or from www.st.peter-libertytown.org), or to watch Mass broadcast on TV.

I was planning to be away this week anyway, so daily Mass is canceled Monday through Friday. Other parish activities during the week may be canceled, so please check the website or Flocknote before coming out. Please stay safe and warm. God bless you.

Fr. Chuck
